Come molti mi hanno consigliato prima di partire per Londra, e come molti ancora mi consigliano qui, gumtree.com è uno dei migliori (forse) siti dove poter trovare un alloggio per una lunga permanenza a Londra.. molto simile al famoso portaportese di Roma, ma come a Roma di fregature ce ne sono tante …e figuriamoci a Londra!! Che è pieno di immigrati che come prima cosa devono trovare un alloggio!! Ultimamente ho sfogliato molto bene il sito, alla ricerca di un alloggio.. e di fregature ne ho pescate parecchie! Per fortuna non sono caduto in nessuna di queste, che vabbè è abbastanza facile, basta non tirare fuori i soldi per NESSUN MOTIVO!!
Il gioco è sempre lo stesso, gira che ti rigira vogliono farti tirare fuori i soldi prima di vedere la casa! Ma il bello è che non ti chiedono di inviarli a loro, ma bensì ad un tuo amico o a te stesso per dimostrare che hai veramente i soldi… unomi ha persino detto che si è rivolto ad un avvocato e sono perfettamente nella legalità a chiederti ciò! Ma ragazzi, vi immagginate la scena dall’avvocato?!!!
Consigli:
Il primo consiglio purtroppo è di diffidare di stanze in zona 1 a meno di 120 pw (Ottobre 2009), anche se stando qui mi è capitata una stanza più o meno a quel prezzo, ma diciamo che la cosa è più unica che rara!!! Poi un’altra ‘furbata’ è che non ti danno mai il numero di telefono, solo email! Chissà come mai è!?
